Abstract (EN)
Biological, biomechanical and mechanical methods that are friendly to nature are used in the fight against pests in vegetable and fruit gardens in agricultural lands. Pheromone traps is one of the methods used. The purpose of these traps is to catch insects with the smells of the opposite sex they spread around. In this way, it is very important to determine the pest population density in terms of when to start agricultural control. However, the traps set up by going to the agricultural land should be constantly controlled. The aim of this project is to digitalize the pheromone traps that are primarily planned and to control their remote monitoring without going to the agricultural land where they will be used. The purpose of using this way, appropriate intervention is made in time with harmful insects according to the farmland used.. In this work , after creating a digital pheromone trap system, a digital pheromone trap will be placed in a selected orchard. The temperature and humidity information of the garden will be measured with raspberry pi 3, temperature sensor, humidity sensor, camera and GSM-GPS-GPRS development modules that will be included in the digital pheromone trap. In addition, daily photos will be taken from the trap and transferred to the image processing center. The population density of the harmful insects will be determined by using image processing techniques on these images. In addition, according to the determined risk thresholds the temperature and humidity values obtained by the sensors used will be sent to the owner of the farmland as a warning message via SMS or e-mail. It allows the user without going to the agricultural land or farmland to learn the density of harmful insects transmitted to the crop.In this way, it will provide an opportunity for the owner of the agricultural land to start spraying time .
