Ill SUMMARY THE DİVAN OF FEYZİ EFENDİ RESEARCHED TRANSCRİPTİON TEXT VOCABULARY KEYWORDS : DIVAN,FEYZI EFENDİ, TRANSCRIPTION »LITERATURE The studies were proceeded according to the scientific researches. First of all, the originality of the Divan was determined, however due to the fact that the Poet was illeterate, there were some difficulties during the studies. Initially, the translation of the original text into contemporary Turkish transcription was performed. During this translation period, the language feature, dictation mistakes were conserved on the basis of the original text without any interferences. After the translation period, the language and method properties of the Poet were researched and under this title, language properties, the used idioms, literary arts, sayings and phrases are additionally determined and sample couplets and poems were given with their footnotes. As we detaily look into the poems within the Feyzi Efendi Divanı from the verse structure point of view, we see that they are in accordance with the Divan requisitons. Also, we believe that this Divan is not a regular Divan. Ghazel (gazel), encomium (kaside), five-line verse (muhammes), four-line verse (murabba), kıt' a, müstezat, six-line verse (müseddis), seven-line verse (miisebba), ten-line verse (mu'aşşer) and single-line irregular verse (müfred) are available within the Divan. It is interesting to find out that, within the kaside' s, mostly the prologue ( nesib) part is available. The spring theme verses (baharriye) were written as six-line verses form at the end of the Divan. As we study on the content of the Divan, we see that the Poet used the religious and non- religious topics side by side. Since the Poet's father was a Islamic preacher, he knew the religious topics, but on the other hand we understand that he was not away from the carnal enjoyment, from his poets about the wine and love theme. Futhermore, he has some poets about wise sayings. We hope that, this thesis will be a source and a guide for the studies on the Divan Literature, especially for the researchers on the Divan transcription and surveys.
