Divan of Feyzi-i Kefevi: Analyzed text

Subject of this thesis which is titled "Feyzî-i Kefevî Dîvanı: Tahlil- Metin" (Divan of Feyzî-i Kefevî: Analyzed Text) is the 17th poet Feyzi. Feyzi was born in small city Kefe in Kirim semi-island. He finished primary school in Kefe and followed high education (medrese) in Istanbul which is the cultural center in that century. Feyzi return to his hometown after graduation and serve to his people as a teacher and religious adviser. In the last part of his life he came back to Istanbul and died there in 1614. He left many written works. In this thesis we determine the information about his life and also examine his poetry. The thesis consists of three parts: 1. Feyzi' s life, works and personality, 2. Basic characters of Feyzfs Divan, 3. Criticized text of the Divan. As a result we consider that Feyzfs poems reflect the some common aspects of the region where he had live and show the esthetic level of that period. In the part of appendix we put the words from the Divan to understand the poet' s world..
