Abstract (EN)
Key words: Adasu Wastewater Treatment Plant, the bulking and bulging problems, filamentous microorganisms, activated sludge process. In this master?s thesis, the floc structure, the filamentous microorganisms and not filamentous microorganisms of the samples which is taken from Adasu Wastewater Treatment Plant have been invastigated. With the analysis results between water and sludge quality have been made a contact. First; Some information have been given about the characteristics of the wastewater, the treatment metods and the pollution parameters and the pollution analysis parameters. The microorganisms in the wastewater have been referred. Afterwards; the activated sludge process and the important microorganisms in the thesis subject have been discourseded and some information about the reasons and precautions of the bulking problems have been given. In the conclusion chapter, the samples of the treatment plants have been investigated by microscopicly. The information have been given about the investigation metods and the stains metods which are applied and the photos of the typies which are fixed and the flocs have been taken. With this results between the analysis results have been made a contact. Some information have been given about that will make about this topic and the precautions will take.
