Measuring financial literacy level: Example of Isparta province

Abstract (EN)

In this study, financial literacy levels of SMEs operating in Isparta province were tried to be measured and at the same time, it was analyzed whether the demographic characteristics of SMEs were effective on financial literacy levels. T-test and Anova analysis were used in the study and the results were interpreted by showing them in tables. A total of 377 SME owners and managers, 312 men and 65 women, were included in the study. Various statistical programs were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the study, there is a significant difference between the financial literacy levels of SME owners and managers operating in Isparta province and age, education level, time worked in the enterprise, position, monthly income, year of establishment, legal structure of the enterprise and the number of employees in the enterprise, and there is no significant difference between gender. conclusion has been reached.
