Abstract (EN)

Financial literacy is on agenda for global financial crisis in the world, changingmarket conditions and demographic changes in the society. Financial literacy isneeded for many areas that financial actions, complex financial tool andapplications and a range of shopping to credit use. Rising financial literacy level isdepended to individuals who use basic banking services, credits, saving andinvesting and information technology based financial services.It is used a sample that is content 600 students from business administration andtechnical and vocational school in this master thesis. It examined to students?financial literacy level and Money management behaviours. According to findingsstudents have very low financial literacy and they don?t notice that situation.ATM cards is most common channel of basic banking services. Credit cardsavailability is 45 percent in students. The rate of users of online banking servicesis only 35 percent. Students perceived the financial literacy as regular savingmoney behavior, pay bills on time and keep financial records behaviour.For a effective working market it is important to raise financial literacy levels ofstudents who will adults of tomorrow. Economy and finance courses must be takeplace all school schedules with improving education programs. In addition, toraising financial literacy levels of society should be a state policy. Thus,individuals can be stay in financial system and use more financial products andapplications.
