Abstract (EN)

Süleymân-nâme-i Kebîr , written by Ferdowsi Rumi in the 15th and 16th centuries and consisting of 81 volumes, is a very voluminous book of Hz. Although it deals with the life and miracles of Solomon, it is a work that has a wide variety of topics and is also written in a mixed verse and prose. Firdevsî achieved his real fame in the world of literature with this work. In our study, the 56th volume, which was registered in the Topkapı Palace Museum Library Treasury in 1534, was transcribed in the form of a critical text and converted into the Latin alphabet. Our work consists of three parts. In the first chapter, various information about Ferdowsi's life and works are given. In the second part, some examinations are made on the spelling, shape, language features and style of the 56th volume of Süleymân-nâme-i Kebîr , which we discussed in our study, and various determinations and evaluations on the religious, historical, geographical and astronomical elements in the text are included. As a matter of fact, as a result of including such a variety of sciences, the work has gained an encyclopedic nature. In the third and last part, after the copy of the 56th volume was classified and the way was followed in the creation of the text, the critical text was included.
