Özet (EN)

The aim of this thesis is to examine the response behaviors of firms towards a comprehensive technological innovation, the relationship between these behaviors and the dynamic capabilities of firms, and the role of two basic factors in this relationship, such as the level of environmental uncertainty and the position of firms in the supply network. The observation that triggered the questions of the thesis study is the nature of the change that started with the transition to electric and hybrid vehicle production in the automotive sector, which has been going on for many years and has not yet been completed. Therefore, it is argued that the firms in the automotive industry are in an adaptation process at different levels, neither the change nor the organizational adaptation has matured yet, and the firms have given certain reactions to the change in this process but have not adapted yet. Therefore, in this study, in order to determine the reactions and strategies of companies against change, the definition of "response behavior to change" was made instead of the concept of adaptation and a discussion was carried out on this definition. As a result of the research, the dynamic capabilities that affect the response behavior of companies to change have been determined and the moderator role of the position of the companies in the supplier network and both the mediator and the moderator role of the environmental uncertainty model have been determined in this effect.
