Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the food Gıda takviyesi use and doping knowledge levels of individuals who do fitness. A total of 569 individuals, including 180 women and 389 men, coming to the fitness centres in Isparta city centre to exercise, participated in the research. During the data collection process of the study, a personal information form prepared by the researcher and a semi-structured interview form consisting of 29 items were used. Frequency analysis was used in the SPSS 25.0 program during the analysis process of the data obtained. At the end of the study, it was found that the prevalence of food Gıda takviyesi use was high among the individuals participating in the study. It was observed that the participants' knowledge level about the use of food Gıda takviyesis and doping in sports was sufficient. It was determined that the individuals participating in the research generally purchased food Gıda takviyesis online and paid attention to the brand when purchasing food Gıda takviyesis. It was observed that the participants' main sources of information about food Gıda takviyesis were the internet and coaches. In addition, it was concluded that the participants did not approve of doping use and argued that policies should be developed to reduce doping use.
