The effect of the education levels of the parents of the mental level children engaging in physical activity on the assertiveness and socialization of the children (Malatya city example)

Aim: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the education levels of the parents of the mentally active children on the child's attitudes and socialization in various variables. Material and Method: 130 parents with mental level children in Malatya were identified as part of the study and 60 parents from Turgut Özal Private Education Vocational School were reached. The form of demographic information and semi-structured interview form created by us with the scale of sport and socialization created by Sahan was applied to the voluntary parents simultaneously. Analysis of quantitative data was performed in the SPSS 22.0 statistical package program. The percentage (%) and frequency (n) values for qualitative variables and the arithmetic mean (X) for quantitative variables, Standard deviation (SS), lowest and highest values are calculated. Results: The level of parental education is that children with physical activity are not effective in gender, parents, father education and child's time of exercise, but children with parents who are illiterate, children under 15, according to those who are over 15, compared to parents with children with 1-2 children aged 5 and above, the level of maternal education is more social and aggressive than those of the middle school/high school mental children, who have no primary or non-literate parents. Conclusion: Mental children who are at the level of parental education at secondary school/high school and are physically active are social and aggressive individuals who are not literate parents or can integrate more easily into society than grade school graduates. In short, as the level of parental education increases, the child's level of socialization and the level of aggression may also be increasing to that extent.
