The effectiviness of the adult training program to increase the quality of the interactıon of physical therapıits and children

Individuals with special needs may have disabilities in more than one development area and may need to receive services from experts in different fields based on the types of disabilities they have. Physiotherapists are one of the specialists who individuals with physical disabilities receive service from. In the literature, there are researches that physiotherapists working with children with special needs increase the effectiveness of the services they provide by interacting with children. The aim of this study is to ezamine the effectiveness of adult education practices designed to improve the quality of interactions between children with developmental disabilities and the physiotherapists, It is aimed to teach the physiotherapists who work with children with special needs and to use the strategies that are appropriate during their theraphy sessions. According to the findings of the study, the applied education practices show that the physiotherapists' interactional behaviors during physiotherapy and the interactional behaviors of the children attending the sessions increased positively.
