Integration of a part control unit on the flexible manufacturing system

Flexible manufacturing systems, are the systems which have different functions of units?s communication and programs controlled by a main computer and these units are connected each other with a carriage-band. The aim of flexible manufacturing systems is, to consider the processes, that are done by the machines in an Enterprise and independently different one from the other, as a whole .This idea provides a fast progress in Industry. Production times in Flexible manufacturing system are reduced to lowest levels and the quality of every piece has been increased. The Quality Control processes of every piece of work can be easily managed in the system by these systems.In this thesis, a quality control module is designed for a progress unit of a MPS system. The Quality Control Processes of the pieces which are taken in progress are carried out in the system by this additional module. The programmable logic controller program of the quality control system is provided by Siemens S7-300.
