Abstract (EN)

Fracture healing is one of the most research field for orthopedic surgeons in the world. Pulmoner emboly is a complication, that can be seen after fractures and major surgeries. Currently, several drugs are used for proflaxia of tromboemboly. It?s known that low moleculer weight heparines and standart heparines delay fracture healing. We aimed to find any effect of fondaparinux on fracture healing or not.50 rats were used in the study but, two rats died and, leaved from study. Firstly fracture performed at the all rats?s tibias. Afterward, two groups were established equally and, each groups were seperated three subgroups.) Fondaparinux were given subcutaneously to working groups rats. No drugs were given to control groups rats. Tests were stopped at 2. 4. and 6. weeks. Rats?s tibias were researched radiologically, histopathologically and biomechanically. There was no significant statistically difference between radiological results (p>0.005).There was no significant statistically difference between histopatological results (p>0.005). There was no sigificat statistically difference between biomechanical results (p>0.005).Effect of fondaparinuks on fracture healing couldn?t be shown at the end of study.Key Words: Fondaparinuks, Fracture healing, Low moleculer weight heparin
