Leibniz'de özgürlüğün metafizik temelleri

In this study, I elucidate how Leibniz, from the conception of substance that contains in its notion what happens to it, tries to escape from the labyrinth of ?liberty and necessity? regarded by him as one of two labyrinths that has been occupying the human race throughout history. By reflecting on the fact that whatever happens to the substance is contained in its notion before the substance is created; in terms of freedom and necessity, I try to show how Leibniz solves the problem. Finally, I briefly discuss whether Leibniz?s elucidations on freedom are in accord with his fundamental metaphysical theses.
