Özet (EN)

The most efficient use of construction sites and the development of land unsuitable for settlement are extremely important for new system buildings. The implementation of environmental regulations, along with the construction of earthquake-resistant housing, are among the objectives of pile systems. Within the scope of this thesis study, bored piles, which transfer loads from the superstructure to the bearing soil layer on top of the weak soil layer, were analyzed in a two-layered soil environment, taking into account soil profiles at different depths. As a result of the analyses, foundation system soil models were created and calculations were performed on the foundation design. Under static loads, the stress-strain behavior of the soils as well as total and differential settlements were analyzed and interpreted. In the second section of the study, three different scenarios were modeled using PLAXIS 2D finite element software, and the displacement distribution of the piles was evaluated in each scenario. The results obtained were analyzed and interpreted to determine the optimal solution by comparing the effects of different design parameters on the soil–pile interaction. The analyses concluded that the number and placement of piles are more decisive factors in the optimal pile design. Therefore, it was determined that increasing the number of piles provides a more balanced load distribution and can yield successful results in terms of material efficiency and settlement control.
