Abstract (EN)

In this study, the aim of the study was to examine fetus and adult of knee and elbow joint ligament as a histological way, compare, and determine how these ligaments change in time. In addition, the images of fetus and adults joint ligament were examined with magnetic resonance imaging method. In this study, the sections taken from knee and elbow of 14-17.5 weeks 10 fetus and the ligaments of tissue taken from the knee and elbow of two male cadaver with the method of dissection was monitored. After monitoring tissue, microtome sections taken from paraffin-embedded structures were stained with Masson-Tricrom and Orcein-Picroindigocarmine paint. These sections were photographed by examining under a microscope. The images of 17 weeks fetus and the knee and elbow of adult were obtained with MR.The differences at adult ligaments consisting of fibroblast density and collagen thickness, density and waves comparing fetuses were detected. It was observed that the collagens in the adults? elbow joint ligaments were far more waves than knee and the absence of collagen and fibroblasts of the knee joint internal bonds were much more than other bonds.Although the fetus ligaments were not enough seen with 1.5 T MR, they were seen with 3 T MR very clearly. The anatomic structures in the three-dimensional 1,5 T MR images taken from adults were determined clearly.
