Abstract (EN)
Reducing water consumption, which is quite high in the textile sector, is important both in terms of the use of resources and in terms of sustainability. It is seen that advanced oxidation processes (IOP) are also used effectively in the treatment of textile industry wastewater, as well as in the treatment of many industrial wastewater. In the textile industry sector, wastewater at high concentrations has inorganic and organic chemicals and a very high color and chemical oxygen demand (COD). In this study, photo-electro-Fenton (FEF) continuity performance was investigated for real textile wastewater (direct exit from the factory), under constant UV-C light; The effectiveness of color and chemical oxygen demand removal efficiency was investigated in different electrode combinations with different pH, different current (I), different Fe2+ doses and different FEF process parameters such as different electrolysis time (t). Graphite plate, steel and titanium were used as anode material and graphite plate was used as cathode material. First of all, optimization studies were carried out for 3 different electrode pairs with fixed parameters. While the color removal efficiency is 83% for the 2 mM Fe2+ graphite plate graphite plate electrode pair at 0.35 A at 60 minutes electrolysis time, the COD is 71%. In the next step, optimization studies were carried out for the graphite plate electrode pair. As a result of the optimization studies, suitable in 60 minutes; At pH 3.2 mM Fe2+, 0.55 A, color removal is 81%, while COD removal efficiency is 75%.
