Özet (EN)

This study focuses on the relationship between architecture and photography; while architecture uses photography as a communication tool, photography makes use of architecture as a spatial object. This relationship is important in terms of architecture directing photography towards its own purposes. In this study, the space-photography relationship has been examined through the works of Le Corbusier, one of the founders of modern architecture. Photography, after painting, was the most used visual expression media of Le Corbusier. Le Corbusier?s purpose for using photography was beyond documenting his projects and recording them to the future; it was for the reflection of his architectural approach through photography.
