Abstract (EN)

Efforts to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic cells, which convert sunlight into electricity, are ongoing. The efficiency is influenced by the converter preference for the module which consist of cells and the performance of the selected MPPT algorithms under varying conditions (environmental pollution, panel yield, radiation change, temperature change, shading). For this reason, many algorithms and converters are investigated on the literature to obtain the maximum power from solar panels. This thesis study have comprehensively investigated the algorithmic methods and hardware structures to obtain and track the maximum power from the solar panels too. At algorithmic methods: PNO, IC, Hybrid-ICBM, ANN, ANFIS based MPPT algorithms have been investigated. At hardware structures: Cuk and Boost converters have been investigated. The results about the output that was obtained by the light of the studies which was simulated have been evaluated.
