Abstract (EN)

Humanity has met most of its energy needs from fossil until now. The interest in renewable energy sources has increased due to the damage of fossil-based sources to the environment. Renewable energy sources are especially solar, wind, geothermal, hydraulic, tidal, wave, biomass, biofuel and hydrogen energies, which are constantly, exist in nature. Due to its geographical location, Turkey has a good potential in terms of renewable energy resources compared to many countries in the world. The production of electricity from solar energy has been of great importance in recent years. In this study, information about the malfunctions in photovoltaic systems and the solutions and precautions to be taken to eliminate these malfunctions is given. Malfunction or deteriorations in systems are seen in cells, modules and arrays. Malfunction or losses in photovoltaic systems are classified as; radiation losses, system losses, conversion losses. İn order to minimize these losses, it is important to control the designs to be made during the system installation phase, the operation and maintenance of the system after installation. After installation, the control of production is provided by remote measurement tracking systems.
