Abstract (EN)

The objective of this study is to problematize the relationship between women and power based on the perspective Michel Foucault. People perspectives on political power has been negatively affected by gender based, traditional approaches versus the women, being the subject of numerous studies in the related fields. Henceforth, the study tackles with the relation ship with gender and political power. The study concludes that there is a meaningful and positive relationship between the variables inserted. The empirical part of the work set out an analysis whereby a Foucaultian reading of control discipline mechanisms along with the governmentality notion could be located. Political power notions, power, perspective on women participation are dealt from the perspective of university students.
