The reconstruction of the digital phase hologram by using fourier transform

The reconstruction of the digital phase hologram by using Fourier transform is purposed in this thesis, the reconstruction process is carried out with the phase information which is obtained from a hologram The phase information which is used for creating the single phase hologram is obtained by using Fourier transform algorithm which has been previously used for optical profilometry but is proposed to use in this study for obtaining phase information from the hologram. In this study the single hologram is firstly created digitally. The single phase hologram is created for phase information obtaining by Fourier transform algorithm which is proposed in this study. By using inverse Fourier Transform and Fresnel-Kirchhoff integral respectively, the reconstruction process is performed by the phase information obtaining from a single hologram. Secondly, 4 different holograms is obtained using by phase shifting digital holography technique. But in this method, while obtaining the phase information, not only using Fourier transform algorithm proposing in this study, but also the phase information is obtained by using phase shifting digital holography technique. Obtaining phase information method by using phase shifting digital holography techniqe which has been previously performed, is used for making comparison with Fourier transform algorithm proposing in this study. The phase hologram having one amplitude is created by using phase information which is obtained from these two methods respectively and the reconstruction process is performed by using Fresnel-Kirchhoff integral. In the last step of this study, the image of 3D object that we have taken a digital hologram experimentally, is reconctructed by inverse Fourier transform from phase information by obtaining Fourier transform algorithm which is proposed to use in this study.
