Abstract (EN)
Nowadays, with the technological developments and the increase in customer expectations, the necessity of developing software to meet the needs of businesses in this direction has emerged. For this reason, the problems related to the software that occur between the franchisor and the franchisee within the scope of the research were investigated by using the semi-structured interview form and in-depth interviews and observation notes. In addition, the material properties of the firm owners who bought franchisees, their views on the software and problems in the auditing process were evaluated. As a result of the negotiations, the necessity of developing software for the solution of the problems for the franchising system was born. Therefore, stock control, main dealer communication, satisfaction, program speed etc. It is aimed to meet the software need in issues. Within the scope of the study, requests were made to meet with the franchised companies in Antalya, which meet the conditions of the research, by telephone or mail. In-depth interviews were made with 10 enterprises that accepted the meeting. The collection of research data was carried out using in-depth interview technique. In the study, an interview form consisting of open-ended and semi-structured questions was prepared by the researcher. The years of activity of the participants included in the research are between 2-7 years, the entrance fee is between 40.000-120.00 TL, the number of employees is between 11-20 staff, the number of branches is between 74-195, the royalty fee is between 1-3%, the contract period is 5-10 years ranges from. The enterprises participating in the research operate as restaurant cafes and restaurants. Participants generally stated that they had difficulty in inventory control and the quality of the materials was at a good level since it was within the framework of certain standards, but the prices were higher than the market conditions. Some of the participants stated that they initially paid a certain amount for the programs, while others stated that the program fees were included in the franchise price. In terms of program based problems, the participants stated that they generally did not have any problems. They also stated that the programs used could not provide sufficient options in terms of inventory control. The participants generally stated that they had a communication disruption with the headquarters related to the audit results. At this point, an option is presented for the solution of existing system problems with the use of management information system for the food-based service sector.
