Utilisation de vidéo pédagogique en classe du FLE et ses effets sur la compétence de compréhension orale des futurs enseignants

The aim of this study is to analyse the students' thought about difficulties encountered during listening skill acquisition at the foreign language classes and to find out the effects of educational video usage in the acquisition of this skill.The data has been acquired from the thoughts of the students at Gazi University School of Foreign Language Preparatory Class in the 2012-2013 Academic Year. Video practice is limited for 38 students including experimental and control group and the questionnaire for the reasons of difficulties encountered during listening skill acquisition is limited for 55 students from five classes. In the concept of the study, exercises of the videos called " Mina, Pierre et les Autres " and " Ça marche ! " , texts and the questionnaire including students' views about the reasons of listening difficulties. Application time is limited for ten days. The research method is theoretical and practical. Calculations and charts have been prepared in the program of SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Excel. Moreover, in the classification and evaluation of the questionnaire and reasons, content analysis has been benefited from. The study has been completed with results and suggestions. At the end of the analysis there were not any meaningful differences between performance test results of experimental and control group. Some factors can be effective on these results. However, it can be stated that the video has positive effects as a facilitating, educational and encouraging tool for a good listening acquisition. When we look at the questionnaire results, we advise being thought about problems stemming from teacher, student, language, material and environment. We hope that the study will be beneficial for teachers, students and related people.
