Abstract (EN)
In this research; Franz Schubert's, who lived in a term when the Classical Period ended and the Romantic Period began but whose music was mostly affected by the Romantic Period, contributions to the lied forms and how he contributed to the artistic properties of his term in his other works, have been examined. İn the first part of the study, the place of Schubert's at the Romantic Period, his contributions to the artistic properties of his term, how his work been affected by his lifetime and his own life story, to what extend he made piano accompaniment a supportive and descriptive element in his lieds and why he pioneered his lied compreser followers have been searched for. Besides, topicssuch as thecomposer's autobiography, social and political history of Romantic Period, the poets of the poems which were the topic of his lieds, the artistic properties of his other works and lieds are also included in this research.
