Determination of potential in the Euphrates and Tigris basin and the impact of climate change

Abstract (EN)
Sufficient hydro-meteorological data has been detected from the five sub-basins. Mann Kendall's eğilim test was applied to determine long-term time eğilims in average annual data from the sub-basin, where 30 years or more flow data is 107. Then, using the climate resilience method proposed by Schaake (1990), the annual average current sensitivity of all sub-basins against precipitation, Ep, and 104 drought index was evaluated. It was determined that most of the sub-basins subjected to 110 eğilim analysis tended to decrease in discharge values. As a result, relatively few sub-basins in the Euphrates and Tigris basin areas tend to be statistically significant at 5% and less important inflow data. The average values of precipitation sensitivity coefficient (ep) and surface flow sensitivity ep (ɛEp) calculated by the climate flexibility method in the sub-basins discussed in the study are 1.55 and 0.55, respectively. Accordingly, it is not the case. An increase or decrease) in precipitation of the Euphratesdicle basin will result in an average increase or decrease of 5.5% in flow. An increase or decrease in Ep will result in an average reduction (growth) of 5.5% in flow. Here, the average value of ep is more significant than that of £Ep, which indicates that the axle's sensitivity to P is more critical than ep. However, Mcrea's value for the drought index of flow in the lower basins is assessed to be 1.66, which indicates that an increase in the drought index would result in a drop in water flow of about 0.6 on average.Furthermore, nonlinear inverse connections between climate change sensitivity coefficients (ep, Epl and) and flow coefficients (q/p) of sub-basin flows have been observed. Lower basin flows mean more susceptibility to changes in induced flows. After accounting for differences in temperature and humidity, it was found that p. Ep and values increased by a factor of 12 from high to low altitudes in Turkey, and it was understood that the susceptibility of the current to climate change was relatively higher at low altitudes.
