Özet (EN)
This thesis examines European integration through Friedrich Nietzsche's concepts of "good Europeanism" and "great politic". Nietzsche classifies politics as being either great or petty politics rather than being national and international. Petty politics consist of mass politics, encompassing issues such as national interest or international competition. International relations theories are theories of petty politics by their scope and content. In contrast, great politics defines the ethical-political sphere within which the European unification falls. Therefore, European integration depends on the creation of a new European ethos. Nietzsche provides a philosophical program for a secularizing Europe, which consists of revaluation of all values.
