Abstract (EN)

In the first part of this research, glass which is widely used in the production of art works as the method of molded glass casting in the kiln, refractory molding, model building and as well as model-making materials has been mentioned. In the second part, general structural character of glass is referred and the properties of the glass which are produced and used specially for the mold forming methods in glass art were investigated and their properties were determined. In addition to following the research is mentioned co-usability of different colored glass which was developed by different glass manufacturers and the significance of annealing in the production of glass art has been touched on. The fourth and the last part is about traditional Czech glass properties produced by Preciosa-Ornela which is easy to access in Turkey has been investigated to determine physical and chemical structure. In accordance with the information obtained, compatibility experiments of the Preciosa-Ornela manufacturer's glass of different colors in the kiln were performed by using the fusion method and it was determined whether they were compatible with polariscope controls. Since different results were obtained after the controls, evaluations were examined under three headings as the group which were compatible, the group with the acceptable tension and the incompatible group. The use of different colors, which have been determined to be compatible when used together, has been successfully implemented in glass art production by personal applications.
