It is religious faith that has shaped the spiritual worlds of the countries existing the history by reaching at a certain cultural level. The tendency of believing in a religion arises from the human nature. Fitrah is a humanitarian consistency carrying a divine nature that involves a number of potentials, and leads human being to the God with its deep character when stayed in the first purity. When the tension of the human nature is taken into account, we come across several dimensions of fitrah. In this sense, our study aims to discuss and evaluate the concept of fitrah, which is related to the inner life of the individual, and religion directly in the light of psychological and socio-psychological approaches.
