Women in Furuzan's stories

It this study, the women characters of Füruzan's stories has been studied within modern Turkish literature. Girls and adult womans are the main characters of the author. The stories not only consists of the womans stories but also includes their daily problems. Thus, it was decided to study on the women of Füruzans stories and the thesis has been shaped in this direction. The women in ''Parasız Yatılı'', ''Kuşatma, ''Benim Sinemalarım'', ''Gül Mevsimidir'', ''Gecenin Öteki Yüzü'' and ''Sevda Dolu Bir Yaz'' were studied in detail in terms of their age, financial, social and working status. This chapter of thesis was studied under five main titles according to the women's age. The women and the girls who are in the same age group were categorized by other similarities. All aspects of the women in these stories were tried to be included in the thesis. Key Words: Füruzan, Story, Woman, Girls, Mother
