A soccer and handball at a super league struggle team members who do a goalkeeper and other playful visual and auditory reaction time differences are determined

The purpose of this study is comparing the auditory and visual reaction times of the goalkeepers and the other players which are playing in the Turkish Super Football and Handball league.The measurements were done 6 Super Football League team?s 89 players which are training in Antalya, in January 2007. The attending experimental in this study; the average age is 24.28 years, the average height is 1.85 m, the average weight 89.21 kg and the average BMI is 23,57.The measurements were done 5 Super Handball League team?s 53 players which are training in Ankara, in December 2007. The attending experimental in this study; the average age is 23.55, the average height is 1.79 m, the average weight 84.5 kg and the average BMI is 26.06.The test which was done by Power Newtest 2000 is explained to the players in details. For evaluating the auditory and the visual reactions, the arithmetic averages were estimated every player for 3 times and than they were appreciated.The measurements were investigated in SPSS 14 statistic program by T test and ANOVA test. As a result of this study, the significant differences were found between the goalkeepers and the midfielders? weight, height and BMI about the body composition but the significant differences weren?t found between the positions about the auditory and visual reactions.
