Burnout situation of football referees from the perspective of football companies

The purpose of this research, Turkey serving as active soccer referee in the Football League the football company stakeholders (administrators, players, fans) for burnout is analyzed in terms of different variables. Research will be carried out in Turkey with a Total of 218 pieces of soccer referees from various provinces and categories. Maslach Burnout Inventory (1981) and a questionnaire form including personal information of 16 questions will be used as data collection tools in the study. Maslach Burnout Scale has been adapted by considering referees' attitudes and behaviors towards Football companies (managers, football players and fans). The data obtained from the scales will be summarized by statistical methods such as mean, percentage, and standard deviation, and after normality tests, regression and correlation analysis, which are correlation analyzes, will be analyzed with ANOVA and T-Test analyzes. The assumptions of the regression model will be tested. 0.05 and 0.01 will be used as the significance level. The research findings include the age, marital status, occupation, income, education level, referee category, active football play, experience, province, social media usage, number of competitions they watch per week, etc. It will be investigated whether there is a significant relationship between all sub-dimensions of the level of burnout (depersonalization, emotionality, personal achievement) against the football company. In addition to eliminating the professional and social factors that lead the football referees to the feeling of burnout in order to reduce the negative effects of burnout; It is believed that football company stakeholders should take measures to eliminate these factors. In order to examine whether the answers given by the participants express their feelings and thoughts completely, and to test the accuracy of this examination, the "Reliability Analysis" process in the IBM SPSS package program will be performed. The main reason for performing this analysis is to prevent data loss and to minimize the margin of error in the collected data.
