Abstract (EN)

Sport is getting more and more important part of daily life. We observe that individuals spend much more time to participate in sportive activities. This statement is easily proven by taking evaluation of number of sport fields and theirs occupancies into consideration. Moreover, the scale of sport economics reached its historical record and continues to grow gradually. Thus, nowadays, researchers from various disciplines focus on this new and vast research area. The largest industry in the sport economics is the football industry. There is only limited study on the allocation and efficient use of resources in the football industry has been made. We claim that efficient use of resources in the football industry by football clubs is measurable with objective criterias. Within this study, we will firstly define the success of football clubs. Then, we will group elements of the success in the football under 5 categories and conduct a literature review about these elements. Finally, we will explain the 2 type of success in football, sportive and financial success, and form the economic equations which allow us to compare sportive and financial success of different clubs. As a final step, we will test statistically significance of the descriptive variables. We strongly believe that the indexes we formed within this study guide to professionals and administrators of football clubs in their decision making process and help to reach Pareto optimum equilibrium subject to resources of each and every football club. Furthermore, the authorities managing the football may benefit from our indexes while adjusting and altering the regulations for re-build the competitive balance.
