Özet (EN)
Objective: The aim of the study was to examine the effects of complex training in soccer players with different set methods during the competition period on some motoric abilities such as isokinetic strength, sprint, jumping, agility, and movement velocity. Method: Thirty-three male soccer players between the ages of 15-18, who have been regularly participating in soccer training for at least one year, participated voluntarily in the study. Participants were randomly divided into three different groups: cluster complex training group (CK, n=12), traditional complex training group (GK, n=11) and control group (KON, n=10). Participants performed a complex training program that included both strength and plyometric exercises two days a week for eight weeks. While the GK group performed all the exercises with the traditional set method, the CK group performed the plyometric exercises with the cluster set method. Body composition, isokinetic strength, sprint, jump, agility, movement velocity and AZD were measured before and after the complex training program. SPSS 22 program was used for data analysis. Results: Significant improvements were found in CK and GK groups in all variables of sprint (excluding minimum power and fatigue index), jumping (excluding AS-SS difference), agility, isokinetic strength, and movement velocity before and after the training period (p<0.05). As a result of the comparisons between the groups, while there were significant improvements in all variables in the CK and GK groups compared to the KON group (p<0.05), no significant differences were found between the training groups. No significant differences were found in the AZD results of all variables (p>0.05). Conclusion: The performing of all exercises included in the eight-week complex training program in young soccer players with the traditional set structure or the plyometric exercises with the cluster set structure provides the development of motoric abilities such as isokinetic strength, sprint, jump, agility, and movement velocity. Also, it was determined that two different set structures did not show different results from each other and provided similar developments. Key words: complex training, cluster set, strength, power
