Fütûhî Kissa-i Yûsuf: (text- examination)

Stories about the life of Prophet Yusuf, who is also mentioned as Ahsenü'l-Kasas in the Qur'an, it is holy both because it is real and because it is mentioned in the Qur'an and the Bible, It has caused it to be loved by the public and written by many poets. The work, which forms the basis of our study, has both linguistic features and vocabulary etc. It is Fütûhî's masnavi named Kıssa-i Yûsuf, which deals with the life of Prophet Yusuf, whom we believe to belong to the Old Anatolian Turkish Period, based on the issues. Our work consists of three main parts. In the introduction section, the texts of the story of Yusuf in the Qur'an and the Bible are discussed. Then, the works about Yusuf stories in Arabic, Persian and Turkish literature were mentioned, and Yusuf stories in Turkish literature were mentioned. It has been studied under two titles as Kıssa-i Yûsuf in Turkish Literature until the XV. century and Kıssa-i Yûsuf in Turkish Literature from the XV. century and later.In the first part is titled "Fütûhî and Kıssa-i Yûsuf Masnavi". In this section, starting from the work, the poet of the work, the form of the poem, the meter, the number of couplets, the purpose of writing etc. features are emphasized.In the second part is titled "The Study of Kıssa-i Yûsuf". This section is discussed under two headings: "The Internal Structure of Kıssa-i Yusuf" and "The External Structure of Kıssa-i Yusuf". In the third part, the description of the copy of the work and its orthographic features are given; the path followed in the translation of the text and the transcripted text are included.
