Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to investigate how the success of 6th grade students in the conduction of electricity unit was affected by the science education carried out in the Future Classroom Lab (FCL) environment. In the research, as a result of the survey conducted for students who passed the seventh grade in the 2022-2023 academic year, the difficulties of the students in the physics, chemistry and biology subjects they learned in the previous year were determined and an achievement test was developed in the light of this information. The research compared the differences between the experimental and control groups using a quasi-experimental design with a pre-posttest control group. According to the results of the electricity transmission achievement test, the score increase of the experimental group students from pre-test to post-test was higher than the control group. This difference was found to be statistically significant. These results emphasize for educators the importance of using Future Classroom Lab (FCL) learning environments to enrich students' learning processes and enable them to better understand scientific concepts. In conclusion, this research supports that FCL learning environments significantly increase students' achievement in the conduction of electricity and strengthen their interest in the science course. In light of the qualitative and quantitative findings obtained in the research; It has been observed that there is an increase in students' success and interest in the science course regarding the relevant subject carried out with the FCL learning environment.
