Özet (EN)

In the study, undoped gadolinium aluminate (GdAlO3), terbium (Tb) doped gadolinium aluminate (GdAlO3:Tb) and boron (B) doped terbium gadolinium aluminate (GdAlO3:Tb, B) were synthesized by microwave assisted combustion reaction method. The X-ray diffraction analysisof the phosphors materials were done in order to determine the success of synthesizes. The thermoluminescence properties of the synthesized phosphors in the study were investigated after the ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. Thermoluminescence (TL) glow curves of materials have been recorded to observe the effect of terbium and boron doping on the thermoluminescence properties of gadolonium aluminate materials and also to determine whether phosphorus materials can be used for radiation dosimetry. It was observed that doping of terbium and bor increased the TL intensity of the host crystal, when the TL results obtained after UV irradiation were examined. It was observed that Tb and B doped gadolinium aluminate phospor could be used as a thermoluminescence dosimeter (TLD) in dose measurement and therefore, the dosimetric caharacteristics such as fading, stability and dose response of the synthesized materials were investigated.
