Translation of Gafur Gulam's "Shum Bola" kissa into Turkish and structureand theme analysis

The story of Shum Bola by Gafur Ghulam, one of the leading figures of Uzbek literature of the Soviet Period, is one of the most important prose writings of Uzbek literature. The work both sheds light on the social life of the period and contains traces of Gafur Ghulam's own childhood memories. The protagonist of the story, Karavoy, is a naughty boy who has lost his father. The story is based on the events that happened to Karavoy after he left home. Important names of the period, children's games, national clothes, food culture and oral literature products such as koşuk, karhat, alyor from the cultural elements of Uzbek Turks are frequently included. In the study, the story of Shum Bola is considered in the context of structure and trace. This work consists of five parts in general. In the introduction section, information about the geography of Turkestan in the Soviet Period is given. In the second part, the life, art and works of Gafur Ghulam are given. In the third section, the story of Shum Bola / Naughty Boy, which was transferred to Turkish, was examined with the structure and tracing method and the language and stylistic features were mentioned. The Turkish version of the short story of Shum Bola, translated from Uzbek Turkish to Turkish, is given in the fourth chapter. A general evaluation of the study was made in the conclusion section of the study. In the bibliography section, domestic and foreign sources used during the preparation of the study are included
