Abstract (EN)
Investigating the elemental abundances of planetary nebulae provides critical information about the chemical evolution of galaxies. In this thesis study, the abundances of Helium, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Neon, Argon, Sulfur elements in Galactic 12 Planetary Nebulae selected from the HASH catalogue were investigated. For this purpose, data obtained from the TFOSC spectrograph attached to the RTT150 telescope located at the TUBITAK National Observatory (TUG) were used. From the emission lines determined for the Galactic 12 Planetary Nebulae, electron temperature, electron density, and c(Hβ) values for extinction were calculated. In addition, ionic abundances, ionic correction factor (ICF) and element abundances of the planetary nebulae were determined using different programs ((Image Reduction and Analysis Facility (IRAF), Automated Line Fitting Algorithm (Alfa), PyNebve Nebular Empirical Abundance Tool (Neat)). It was observed that the obtained element abundances were mostly consistent with the values given for the Galactic bulge, disk and halo.
