Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the productivity analysis of the machinery used for earth moving and coal excavation activities carried out in Western Lignite Corporation (WLC) in the Tunçbilek district of Tavşanlı, Kütahya province was performed. In these analyzes, the machines were handled in both monthly and annually base, and the comments together with the suggestions were given according to the results. In these calculations, efficiency, percentage efficiency, effectiveness and performance index were calculated by taking advantage of monthly production amount, working hours and machine downtimes of 2017. With these results, the working performance of the excavation machines used in the field has been evaluated. According to this; With a total of 12 months, Electric/Rope Excavator No. 37 has the highest productivity value with 1763 tons/hour, while Dragline No. 26 has the highest efficiency value with 35.5%. While the number 463 Crawler/Hydraulic Excavator has reached the highest efficiency with 242.9% value, the machine with the best performance with 630.7 tons/hour performance index has been determined as the number 36 Electric/Rope Excavator.
