Abstract (EN)
One of the most important problems of our country, is the problem related to effectively and efficiently production of underground natural resources. The coal as raw material for energy has an important role, as a result of increased usage opportunities, has gained more importance in terms of both economic and business administration. For this very purpose, in this thesis, performance and cost analysis of the mechanized system used in Ömerler Underground Colliery of Western Lignite Enterprises which is the only state owned company utilizing mechanized system for coal production have been realized. In addition, the assessments have also been made according to the data obtained.Performance analyses were carried out according to both of classical and modern methods. According to the results of performance measurements, stopping time affecting directly performance of mechanized system was shown. As a result of the relationship between performance index and stopping times was examined with multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient (r) and coefficient of determination (R2) were occurred as 0,907 and 0,823 respectively. According to this result, the strong relationship was become known between stopping times and performance index. When these stopping times were examined, it was seen that stopping which occurs on belt and chain conveyors was come forward. These were followed by cutting machine and ground support downtimes.Cost analysis was carried out after the performance analysis. As a result of the cost analysis, correction was made according to the rate of inflation and realized cost was calculated as 153,37 TL/ton while the cost was expected as 60,66 TL/ton in 2009. As a result, cost was 2,5 more times than expected value. Production reached to level of 266.000 tons in the year of 2010 and so the cost was decreased. However, the cost of 2010 was occurred as 128,260 TL/ton as %94 more than expected cost.Looking to the cost of dates between 1997 and 2010, if the small decrease in the year of 2002 is ignored, increase is observed from 1997 to 2004, decrease is observed in years between 2005 and 2007 and then increase is observed again. It is seen that the most effecting factor on occurring costs is labor cost. Increase on this item affects cost directly.Production of five longwall panels was finished with mechanized system which was set up on 1997, and production of the sixth longwall panel is continuing. As a result of analyses made, it was observed that physical life of the system decreased in the last period of 2007 and rapid increase was occurred by this year.Consequently, it is come out that a full revision is needed to be done on the system or the equipments which break continually down are needed to be changed.
