Abstract (EN)

Keywords: Gas turbine, turbine blade cooling, surface coating The advanced modern gas turbines are operated at high temperatures which the mechanical properties of metal components such as about 1400 °C are reduced and softened to provide thermal efficiency and high-power output. As the turbine section temperature increases, the heat from which the wings are exposed also increases and the material, design and coating types of the wings are affected by this thermal increase. Because of these effects, fatigue, corrosion and crack formation is seen as a result, and thus increase the usage costs of gas turbines reduce the overall useful life. At this point, improvements in the material structures of the turbine blades and the coating methods have been developed, and in addition, by refining the blade surfaces and internal structure, cooling methods and new blade designs are developed.
