Abstract (EN)

With factors such as the advancement of technology, the continuous increase in population and the increase in urbanization, the demand for energy is constantly rising As a result of the increase in energy demand and the intensive use of energy resources, a gradual decrease in energy resources is observed. For this reason, people have gone to the way of saving energy and have started to use various energy sources. As an issue that has caught the attention of scientists, it is important to reduce energy losses as much as possible. Minimizing heat energy losses has an important place in heat transfer research. In order to use energy efficiently, many studies are carried out on heat exchangers, which have a wide range of uses. In the research carried out, the use of turbulators plays an important role. It is observed that energy savings are achieved with the use of turbulators. In this study, 5 different types of turbulators were designed. These designed turbulators were tested in a natural gas boiler. Based on 2 different Reynolds numbers (31700-17100). With the experimental study and Solidworks Flow Simulation analysis, the thermal performance was investigated depending on the turbulator used in the boiler and the Reynolds number. As a result of the studies, it was found that the fin angle was 25° and the Reynolds number was 31700 and transferred more heat.
