Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study; As a result of the welded materials to be manufactured by using different current values according to the EN ISO 15614-1 standard with the Gas Welding method of S355J2 structural steels; It is aimed to investigate the weld penetration, mechanical properties, yield and tensile strengths and welding capabilities of the material. In the study, S355J2 structural steel, which is one of the most widely used construction main building materials in the world, according to EN ISO 15614-1 standard, plate materials with a thickness of 5 mm by the gas metal arc welding method; By using 4 different ampere values (200-220-240 and 260 A) by keeping the shielding gas, weld metal and welding speed constant, both unidirectional and bidirectional welding capabilities will be investigated and in the light of the results to be obtained, the appropriate technique for extending the strength and performance life will be determined. intended to help create After the joints, the metallographic evaluation of the structures formed in the intermediate section will be made and the welding quality will be determined by mechanical tests. As a result of the studies carried out; It is aimed to determine the most suitable welding parameters for the selected material pairs.
