Abstract (EN)
This study was planned and executed for the purpose of examining the employment status of graduates of Gazi Education Faculty Department of Fine Arts, Branch of Art Teaching.The population of the study is 441 students graduated from Gazi University Gazi Education Faculty Department of Fine Arts, Branch of Art Teaching between 2003- 2006. The sample consists of 153 students, whom were able to be reached of the graduates between years of 2003- 2006.A questionnaire form was used in the research process. The qualitative data acquired through the questionnaire was quantified and analyzed towards the problems and the sub-problems by their means of frequency and percentage values being clarified.In the result of the study, the employment statuses of the students graduated were examined, the effect of the art teaching program on the art teacher candidates preparetion, were investigated and their expectations of finding a job and professions they desired to become were clarified. At the end of the study, the advice statements are presented according to these results.Key words: Gazi University, Art Education, Employment
