viiiTHE STUDY OF THE SPECIMENS OF TEPHRITIDAE (DIPTERA) INGAZİ UNIVERSITY ZOOLOGY MUSEUMM. Sc. ThesisBengü PAKYÜREKGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYDecember 2006ABSTRACTIn this study, 1767 Tephritid specimens which are present in the ZoologicalMuseum of Gazi University and collected different date and various district ofTurkey and West Iran were evaluated. 115 species of totally 28 genus weredetermined. Oxyaciura tibialis, Myiopites cypriacus, Urophora maura, Urophoratenuior, Campiglossa absinthii, Campiglossa difficilis Campiglossa lederi,Capitites ramulosa, Noeeta bisetosa, Noeeta crepidis, Noeeta pupillata, Oxynaflavipennis, Oxyna lutulenta, Oxyna nebulosa, Oxyna quttatofasciata, Spathulinasicula, Hendrella winnertzi, Tephritis bardanae, Tephritis bimaculata, Tephritisheiseri, Tephritis heliophila, Tephritis hendeliana, Tephritis mutabilis, Tephritisruralis, Tephritis scorzonerae, Tephritis stictica, Tephritis truncata, Trypaneatubulata, Orellia distans, Orellia steropea, Terellia longicauda, Terelliatussilaginis, Carpomya schineri, Hypenidium graecum, Hypenidium roborowskii,Rhagoletis batava, Rhagoletis flavicincta are new records from Turkey andChaetorellia carthami, Euleia heraclei, Orellia steropea, Terellia ruficauda,Campiglossa grandinata are new records for the Fauna of Iran. GenusOxyaciura, Myiopites, Noeeta, Spathulina, Hendrella, Campomya, Hypenidiumand Oxyna are new records for Turkish fauna. Besides, in this study, 1 speciesfrom Urophora and 4 species from Tephritis are considered to be new forscience.
