Research of the ways of protecting in situ and ex situ of the province of Gaziantep

In the province of Gaziantep is naturally spread represents the endemic as a result of this study conducted geophyte taxa Asparagaceae (4), Iridaceeae (3), Colchidaceae (2), Orchidaceae (2) Amaryllidaceae (1), Liliaceae (1), Papaveraceae (1) and Ranunculaceae (1) families 15 taxa and species belonging to six taxa have been identified. Allium karamanoglui Kong & Kollmann IUCN assessments were evaluated in the category MOST (In Danger). Distributions of the taxa made the detection of phytogeographic; Iranian-Turonian (8), E. Mediterranean (5) and unknown (2). The detection of taxa have been taken under protection in Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Botanical Garden
