Prof. Dr. Yusuf ZEYNALOV May 2003, 79 pages This study was carried out on determining and introducing of species of wild Rosa L. which spread central and districts of Gaziantep between 2000 and 2002. Periodic field trips were performed to the study area, the collected specimens to be made herbarium materials and some of that was introduced to the Botanic Garden of Gaziantep University. As a result of diagnosis studies, 10 different Rosa L. species were identified and 6 of them were introduced. Keywords: Rosa, Wild Rosa, taxonomy, Gaziantep
