Trades and public space in Gaziantep

In this study, approach has been developed for regarding the structural transformation of publicity on the example of Gaziantep. The dynamics of organized socialization around daily life of individuals, groups and Actors, which coexist through complex relationships were evaluated in the public sphere. Socialization dynamics and complex social relations were commented via classes and classes properties. In order to understand the conditions of the emergence of the current conjuncture and relations and how it has transformed, the Ottoman Period, the early years of the Republic and the progressive periods were emphasized. In addition to tissue of sociocultural and experienced social life, socioeconomic and economic conditions were evaluated with information from various sources. With these conditions, attention was drawn to the cases the events that are influential in almost the whole world, like globalization, neoliberalism, mass democracies, technological developments, emergent and new communication networks that continue to be organized rapidly and political developments. All these issues were interpreted in relation to the place in the study. Jürgen Habermas Transformation of Public Sphere of his work and analysis were considered as a reference. Deeply interviews were conducted with people who were members of organizations such as the Gaziantep Chamber Of Commerse, Gaziantep Chamber Of Industry and City Council for use in the study. In addition, snowball sampling method was used to reach different people.
