Ormancı, N. Evaluation of Women’s Obesity-Related Biases and Their Obsessed With Healthy Eating Who Between 20 and 40 Ages and Live in Famagusta. Eastern Mediterranean University, Health Sciences Faculty, Nutrition and Dietetic Master Thesis, Famagusta, 2016. In this study, obesity in women between the ages of 20-40 and was carried out to identify prejudices against the obsessed with healthy eating. The study data was conducted on May and July in 2016. Woman between the ages of 20 to 40 who reside in the district of Famagusta 475 and have been visiting in home or work place. Data were collected with face-to-face meetings. In virtue of questionnaires were evaluated participants' demographic information, general eating habits and eating behaviours. Moreover, individuals' biases against obesity to measure by GAMS-27 scale, also evaluated for orthorexic behaviour assessment were used by ORTHO-11. The average age of women are 30.67±6.08. The average of body mass index (BMI) is 24.68±5.01 kg/m². 21% of participants of the study have health problem that diagnosed by a doctor. The other participants (78.9%) do not have any health problem. The their average scores of ORTO-11 are 26.73±3.27. Furthermore, average score of GAMS-27 for results are 75.97±11.99. According to results of women's obesity bias scale are 26.1% biased, 48.0% prone to bias, 25.9% unbiased. When considering the obsession of healthy eating; 24.8% prone to orthorexia and 75.2% healthy were found. Unbiased and biased against obesity in women, in terms of bread consumption are statistically significant (p<0.05). The women of unbiased and biased BMI, waist and hip circumference, fat percentage, fat mass, percentage Sep, percentage with the amount of liquid and liquid are statistically significant (p<0.05). Prone to orthorexia individuals and healthy individuals in terms of bread consumption are statistically significant (p<0.05). Prone to orthorexia individuals and healthy individuals' waist circumference, hip circumference, BMI and muscle mass, amount of liquid are statistically significant (p<0.05). As a result of the study is recommended that further studies be done that could represent the society.
